In my area, there is a Tae Kwon Do school my kids go to. You can see every year the class picture. For the last 10 years it was almost all white kids then it made a dramatic change to almost 100% Indian. We live near Microsoft. Something very obviously is going on with immigration. To say Microsoft has simply been flooding the area with Indians is shown visually.
I was a self taught software developer that was very advanced. I remember applying to Microsoft dozens of times. Your resume goes right in the trash … unless you are a foreign indentured servant. These companies are not our friends. I was permanently shadow banned and limited on LinkedIn for mentioning this. It’s a racket. Intel laying off 30K people a quarter. Who do they replace them with?
If Microsoft decided to be a fully Indian company, what would change? I'm actually kind of curious. Then they can just stop pretending and have a giant Taj Mahal HQ in India with tons of Indians. Who is going to stop using Microsoft Office in the enterprise? I have no clue what's actually keeping some companies here at all.
The issue is what replacement means, no? The racist tone of it comes from "replacement of white people" being an endeavour conspired by the State to dislodge white people, instead of a natural state of affairs where immigrants have a higher fertility rate than the native population. Characterising such state of affairs as "the end of civilisation" then becomes extremely racist.
Discourse does not exist in a vacuum, replacement has a semantic meaning in this discourse apart from the literal one...

Buying Twitter, the primary location for political disagreements and communications, is a sort of cover bet to negotiate later.
Interesting to note Trump staying away from Twitter altogether. He likely doesn’t want to give anyone, including Musk, and leverage or perceived leverage over him.
What is interesting is he has likely secured the nomination and may be able to win without Twitter, which would be a major signal that he is uncontrollable

My life personally post covid has declined considerably in the social domain. My circle has gotten more and more narrow and I feel more and more weird and isolated.
I don’t want to be weird and isolated. I would rather have friends and a community.
So what do I do? I actually go to church now. That’s literally my only option and I’m not even that religious.
Remote work and the isolation has put incredible stress on me as an animal. I don’t like this.
You make a good overall point here but you've really compromised it by saying 'white men' because:
1. That particular phrase has been massively overused in a disparaging way by 'wokists' and a lot of people are going to see those words and just assume you're 'one of them' and ignore you
It seems to me that women and non-white people are just as vulnerable to hype cycles and cult behaviour as white men are.
I do agree that lack of "well-roundedness", for lack of a better word, in some tech circles is part of the cause of this sort of thing. But again, non-white men are just as vulnerable to that as white men.
It depends on the stage of the startup. Once they've taken enough VC money and have a yearly budget of say $10m, they often just need a certain number of bodies to flesh out whatever idea they have already implemented in their PoC. They don't need geniuses.

A funny analogy with humans is Panda bears. Pandas are notoriously very hard to persuade to reproduce in captivity.
Now we are the panda bears.
We have put ourselves in captivity, built an entire society that drastically warps our behavior for several generations and now we are trying to sort of undo all that.
Those behaviors and those cultures took millennia to create. And we are going to sort of hit a light switch and toggle them back on?
Suspect the basics or love and romance have been completely forgotten. We have also actively denigrated male courtship rituals to the point that men have been discouraged from a wide range of behaviors we used to have.

Men and women have to be trained and encouraged to reproduce and date.

If you really want to do it, you basically just let everyone know directly and indirectly that you are all getting married at 20 and getting pregnant or you don’t get a house.

Suspect a single change like that: Literally, you cannot buy or own property without a baby or you get a significant substitute and the woman gets a dowry.
Humans are like panda bears: We do not mate in captivity the way we need to in order to create children.

And if they want them to STAY married there will need to be a persistent social status imbalance where the man is higher social status or the woman won’t want anything to do with him.
