It looks easy: a grid of identical colors, except for one that’s just slightly different. At first you’ll spot it instantly. Then the differences shrink, the grid grows, and you start doubting your monitor, your eyes, and yourself.

I tried using various settings on my Samsung phone and they had a serious impact!

Adaptive = level 32

AMOLED Photo = level 16

Basic = level 39, maybe 38, can't remember now.


Pro-level!


That level is hard! I find myself sweeping my eyes over the grid, looking away, then back a few times before I can see it.

App said I was in the 5 percent. Lol, the 4 color vision people must rule the roost! Us standard RGB types can throw a few solid punches...

Agreed with other commenter: green is killer.


Haha, everyone says green is the hardest but I keep tripping over purple!!


Is that true for all displays you have used?

Purple is harder when I use the AMOLED cinema and photo options on my phone.

I want to try this on a CRT, Plasma, LCD.

Yes. Our receptors are not equal. Maybe it needs a more sophisticated algorithm.


Purple is the killer for me.
