Only thing I didn't understand was I signed up with FB so I had a verified e-mail address, yet they asked me to put one in - the default of my FB one would have been a little bit better

I found that annoying too when signing up with Twitter, if I knew I would still have to create a username and provide an email address I would have skipped signing in with Twitter.
