If you already have a lot of your own data, and can rent powerful hardware to train your model (and competent people do actually set up and manage the whole process), you can get a very powerful engine with interesting insights that will be relevant to you (and possibly to you only), with the effect probably proportional to how specific your data is. After the training phase, actually using the model doesn't need to be that expensive.
