Yeah, reading the article it becomes immediately clear that the author, despite being a data journalist, does not really understand the basic fundamental concepts of LLMs.
Exactly. It’s kind of frustrating because I’d love to read an article that attempts to make it work. There’s a need for more advanced exploration than poking it with a stick and then talking about how poking it with a stick doesn’t work, but almost all articles seem to follow the format.
