AI engineer is a hype term for someone that can incorporate LLM to solve an engineering problem. It isn’t that hard to use OpenAI apis, LLM are like super abstractions. You tell it in natural language, as opposed to a specific programming language. It’s still a very narrow field. The hype is real but it’s getting a bit frothy
