I've used Gandi as a registrar and for personal email for about a decade.

I've received no email/notifications about any changes in regards to my services so this FAQ about a new mailbox service that I never knew existed is rather confusing.

i received the email today, so i expect yours is on the way.

as far as i can tell the new mailbox service is not available yet. the FAQ says there should be a convert option, but it's not there yet, nor can i find any information on the cost or features of the new mail service.

the cost is at the end of the new price list after the domains.

respectively 4,79€ and 7,19€ TTC/VAT incl.

It's insane. So with 2 mails boxes, that were not free but included in the price/package of the domain. I will have to pay 2121.2*3.99=115€/year for a basic e-mail service that was included until now. It feels like a breach of contract.

Yeah got the email today, had to go digging in the PDF on my phone still seems very poorly communicated IMHO.

I’m glad that when I was migrating from Gmail three years ago, I decided to go with paid Fastmail instead of Gandi’s free offering.

Can anyone recommend a good registrar based in the EU?

Same question for e-mail hosting services.
