In India, during booming times one problem startups face is finding good people at affordable rates. The demand supply equation is so bad that someone with 2 years experience in any sort of hacking will land a job that pays x+n where x is the current pay and n substantial percentage of it. Now in tougher times people would be willing to join and also stick around.
