DOJ Poised to Sue Google over Digital Ad Market Dominance (bloomberg.com)

Good. They're so dominant now, they can be choosy about their clients knowing they can't go elsewhere and have to comply with their ridiculous requirements.

> Google has argued that the market for online advertising is a crowded and competitive one. In court filings and congressional testimony, the company has noted its rivals include other major players in the ad tech market such as Amazon.com Inc., Meta Platforms Inc. and Microsoft Corp.

DOJ need to be careful to really only focus on mainly Search Engine Advertising and secondly (Programmatic) Display Advertising, excluding Social Media. I'd even split up display and SEA, due to them being somewhat different issues:

In Search, Google being a quasi-monopoly and on the other hand having control over publishers etc in Display, where they don't own the ad-space.
