I'd go further; with such bullshit claims akin to this the entity making the false claim should be perma-banned from YouTube.


A ban would simply result in them creating a new account. Stopping future copystrikes is just enough pain to keep them where they are while preventing more damage.


YouTube still needs to, legally speaking, accept DMCA claims from companies they have banned.
