Email from Gregoire Nitot, CEO of Sii Polska, Blasting Employee for Unionizing (za.org.pl)

If this is real, “methinks he doth protest too much”. Workers aren’t cogs in a machine, and somebody taking the time to write this much screed seems to think that they are. And if it’s only aimed at a single worker talking about a union, it’s way too much. If, however, it resulted in a union forming, there must have been some worker frustration to tap into.

It's being reported on with more e-mails by Unions Initiative which is Polish non-profit supporting unionization efforts in country:

Context:

Sii is Polish software company that outsources it's developers to customers to develop software solutions. CEO of this company is Gregoire Nitot, Frenchman.

Recently few employees at Sii have bunched together and founded workers union at Sii, which has reported to the CEO who reacted with an e-mail.

Employe who started union at Sii has been fired. This is a breach of Polish constitution which guarantees employees right to unionization at their workplace and protects members of unions from being fired in retaliation.
