Expect backlash about the "...unpaid interns" thing, especially when you're located in San Francisco, CA, USA of all places.

Especially since "unpaid intern" is blatently illegal. If the intern performs work of any kind that benefits the employer, they need to be paid at the least, minimum wage.

A kid with a background in Python/Django can easily get a paid job else where.
