Brit living in Australia here - AM/PM is standard in both these places too. Must be an anglo thing.

24h clock is pretty common in the UK; definitely wouldn't say AM/PM is standard at all in my experience.

Yeah, both are widely used in Aus/NZ/UK. It’s not like the USA where some people only know the 24-hour clock as “military time”.

Unlike the rest the Empire, the UK has been greatly influenced by Europe. Use of 24h clock, metric, and "football" instead of "soccer" are examples of this.
