What do you think of optical media like BD-R?

I've heard that the inorganic substrate they use these days is decent for archival.



M Disc claims to sell DVD-R and BD-R discs that are good for a thousand years. Many modern disc burners support burning to M Discs already. They're a little pricey though.

I’ve heard that too. Fairly normal ones right? 25GB/disc sounds cumbersome to handle though.
