Some of the companies I worked at were indeed shitty, and what I wrote is a caricature. And I never said other fields don't have problems, most in fact are worse than what we've got.

But I'm concerned that the popular perception is: go to a coding bootcamp for a few months, or even study CS at university, and that is your golden ticket to a solid, happy, lifelong career. Which I believe will be untrue for many people.
