.dev hasn't been working locally for me for more than a year.



I use "foo.local" as a drop-in replacement, haven't had problems...


Apparently “.test” is the RFC official one to use. Jts recently got around to fixing all my local projects https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.test


Any devices using mDNS might disagree.


Sure; tho I only said _I_ haven't had problems using ".local". In any case, I think your peer commenter who replied about use of '.test' "wins", though, given the RFC.
