OPNSense (fork of pfSense) is built on top of HardenedBSD, so there's ASLR, PIE, SEGVGUARD, all the things :)



it doesn't work very well, even for the little OPN/pfSense do.


From my experience it works actually pretty well, and OPNSense does indeed address the issues the parent posted
