I think they try to use "VISA" to distinguish it from a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_(document). I would expect a "Visa API" to have something to do with immigration.

yeah that's fair, but then they wrote "Api", and now I'm convinced they're deliberately trying to piss off pedants like myself
