Every operating system has different fonts installed by default. Unless you use custom fonts, you can't be fully consistent, but the website has some groups of similar fonts that should get you the same style regardless of operating system.
This seems like a very thorough study on remote work. Many findings are quite relatable as someone who has been working remotely for the past five years or so. I do think that remote work is as much dependant on the project you are working on as it is when working on-site. Bad projects can feel bad when remote and good projects feel good when remote.
