C++ is dead but as usual most of the industry lags behind.

How exactly is C++ dead if it is widely used in the industry?

No one is choosing it for new projects. It's become undead like COBOL and Fortran.

C++ is still the default choice in many domains.

Thanks, I won't.

Manage expectations.

Yes, you have a brain.

They get less attention. Are usually there to supplement the app so the bar is lower.

What if there is no corresponding native app? Are web sites more buggy than competing native apps?

Is this building more prone to falling apart than that building? Depends how it was built. In other words, no.

Is anyone else tired of the mainstream misconception of what an algorithm is?

And family. Nothing stronger than family.

And simulated sex for the sexless. Nothing stronger than staring.

Cars do kill a lot of cats, therefore less curiosity... I see your reasoning, here. :)

I'm going to have to agree that self-help books really don't help all that much. What worked for one person doesn't always work for another.

Or even if it is the same solution, the point is to find it ourselves. Like when working on a maths problem, it's not about about getting the right answer from the book or a friend, but learning how to solve it ourselves so that we can crack the next problem easier.

I'm not a fulltime node dev, but nginx.com has some books.

Are you kidding? At this point the internet might not even be around for much longer.
