A week ago I got a receipt printer on eBay to play around with.

I launched Claude code and had it connect and print something, cool! Then I decided to hook it up to the internet so anyone could send me a message. Someone asked for a camera pointed at it, so I did. Of course that was a bad idea… So I hooked up Claude and made it reject naughty content.

It’s been a week and I’ve added tons of features: a mod panel to play with the queue settings, turn the cutter on and off, ban people, etc.

We even have my laptop playing AI voice reactions to the content that gets printed. The livestream has been going for like 4 days straight now. I added some basic monitoring, develop features that the audience wants, refill the roll.

I’ve made a tiny tiny amount of money from this. Yes I feel bad about “wasting paper” but also it gives people joy.

I’ve lost control of my life, I’ve become printer man.

Can you elaborate? just tried zellij for the first time the other day

Sure, I have to change a lot of contexts, and each contexts has a lot of sections.

So basically I have

- A session for dev

   - each tab is a service

       - each service has a pane, vim, claude code, runner (npm run dev, go run etc)
- A session for devops

    - vim
    - staing
    - prod
- Other services that are not so day to day -vim

- Misc

I want this for Gitlab so badly

GitLab already has "interactive web terminals" which is basically the same thing: https://docs.gitlab.com/ci/interactive_web_terminal/

It was meant to be a direct copy of Drudge and they have a garbage mobile interface haha.

Maybe I will consider optimizing though!

This is what I use: https://www.drudgereportfeed.com/ on both desktop and mobile. Easier on the eyes...

try setting set -g mouse on in your tmux config. With this I'm able to scroll up by using two fingers in termius.

- I think it just came with a cable, USB-C. no plug. - I do have a battery, but I hear most people pull them and just plug in with none. - No, came with USB-C - Haven't checked! Maybe I will

Thx, Wifi! Was down for a bit yesterday but back up. No downtime due to volume of traffic

What? The how-to is the concerning part and not the code?

The only downtime has been due to phantom process killer (I think) still killing Andronix. I can't figure out why. Traffic was "only" 522 uniques today, easyyy for such a small site behind Nginx

This is an awesome idea!
