My (NC) property has too many pine trees to maintain with an electric blower and rake, although I've tried! Running the gas blower pains me - I hate the noise it creates, so I try to at least minimize running it and restrict it to afternoons / early evenings. However I have successfully transitioned to an electric mower, which has been great.
This announcement is well timed given my recent experiences: I've just (this week) finished the SWE interview process with Amazon. I spent a few months preparing LC and made it to the onsite/full interview - which I thought went fairly well. However I was passed over, and the recruiter was unable to offer any feedback whatsoever, which was a bit insulting given the time commitment that's expected of interviewees. With such a large number of announced new roles, I wonder if Amazon's hiring process will need to become more interviewee-friendly.
My long-time account has been locked down since November - their automated identity verification tool random stopped working for me, and I haven't been able to get any meaningful support. I've opened multiple tickets but had no meaningful response from support. Completely unacceptable for a platform that's handling my money. So this type of recurring outage doesn't surprise me at all.
I've seen others have success complaining on the Coinbase subreddit [1]. It's run by Coinbase staff and they seem to respond better there than the ticketing system.
Thanks for the suggestion. I sent a direct message to coinbasesupport from that subreddit three weeks ago and never received a response - public shaming must really be the only way to get traction. Which again is completely unacceptable!

This is beside the point, but unless you're using your fiat onramp provider to actively trade you should strongly consider being personally responsible for the custody of your crypto assets.
Similar situation for me: I've had an account since 2013, but Coinbase is just a month ago started asking me to verify my identity. That prevents me from selling or transferring my crypto, but I'm still allowed to buy more!? Their automated verification tool fails for my driver's license, and despite multiple support tickets I've gotten no human response. My takeaway from this is that Coinbase isn't mature enough to be trusted.
I've been working in the RTP area for a few years now. There are decent tech opportunities, relative to the lower COL. However I got bored of the area pretty quickly - my goal is to move somewhere closer to outdoor recreation like AVL.
I use a vivoactive 3: it has combination usb/charging port[1] that's completely waterproof and designed to be used while swimming. I believe most garmin watches share the same port design.
This is the same thought I'm having. I've been using Strava for ~8 years now, and as a MTBer the leaderboards have always been a lot of fun. I would happily pay for the subscription to keep access to the leaderboards, but I'm afraid they'll become a shell of what they were - and that I'll mostly be competing against myself on segments!
I wanted to update my system with the Ryzen 5 1600 AF, given its value at $85 - but it's no longer in stock anywhere at that price, so the 3300X is looking appealing.
AMD has committed to restocking to retailers who should be selling at least close to MSRP, but this part is underpriced. We'll likely see it continue to be bought in bulk and resold at a higher price as long as this is true. You're getting what is very nearly a half-price 2600.
I admit that I'm not as concerned with long-term performance for this system. I've managed to stretch a Phenom II 1055T for more than 10 years now - my interest in PC gaming fell off for a while there - so I've already skipped more than a few upgrade cycles!
I've played recorder (soprano) in a baroque ensemble - the instrument is beautiful in the right context. For playing alone, I enjoy my wood tenor recorder.
