Made a bunch of updates to fix/improve:
1. UI/UX consistency
2. Transcript retrieval
3. Card generation logic to ensure you have a solid started deck to work with
This article misses the mark in so so many ways.
Chandigarh is pretty much the only livable city in the country!
- "unnecessarily large scale" is the reason that it is the only city in India that doesn't suffocate it's own residents
- wide avenues, open spaces and numerous public parks encourage families to step out of their residential sectors often. Walk into any park after 4pm during the week, and you will see children and adults of all ages exercising/ playing sports
- It is also one of the few places where the bureaucracy has enforced strict building codes to prevent the kind of construction creep you see in large tier 1 metropolitan centers
In the same boat here, spend a lot of time in front of the computer and started getting lower back + shoulder + neck aches.
I now do an hour of yoga every morning, which is basically a mixture of breathing exercises and stretching. Keep it simple, look up a couple of basic youtube videos or better still hire someone to teach you the basics. It takes a while to build up the will to do it every morning, but once you've got the basics down your back will thank you.
I use to go swim every other day, but that's been on hold these past couple of months. best of luck.
The reason Shopify is so successful is that they have 0 morals as to who they host. They run a whole slew of shops for white power/neonazi pages and don't care at all. They run shops for Rebel Media, a Canadian neonazi page, and Breitbart. If you get rich by enabling Nazis you can talk about easy working hours all you like, it's all BS.
i've spent nearly a decade in and around china (including some time at peking university which is down the road from tsinghua), for anyone trying to make sense of the contradictions that are china, i'd recommended picking up chan koonchung's (陈冠中) excellent novel the fat years (盛世 - 中国2013年).
although the way the novel wraps-up is a bit outlandish and disappointing... overall its does an excellent job of translating all the fascinating, bizarre, and creepy headlines we're constantly bombarded with these days into a plausible portrait of modern china (at least for me).
