What people want today is easy cross platform coding, something poorly served by C, but served much better by both Zig and Odin.


I am only giving my impressions. Coming from other languages, this was very confusing, and the error messages were not helpful.


This reminds me of when Tsoding (streamer with programming content, often low level) tried to use BetterC for coding. The verdict after a streams was that BetterC seemed more of a bait-and-switch tactic than an actually useful thing.

Although Tsoding liked D as language, but BetterC was really a disappointment.
