Thanks! Still fine-tuning how inputs are captured in the browser. The infinite loop might be because the VM is being used to access itself from itself? haha
William Gibson described it as "High tech, low life." It's also described as a Genre that explores the connection and impacts between technology and the human experience.
I was very excited when this project first came about, but it has been pretty dead for a while. It seems like the creators made a TED talk about it, got some financing, and moved on. They're now focused on selling classes on building their version of an inexpensive house that they say will "change the world."
I've been using it most of this year, it's been really handy. I do wish there was a better way to manage attachments. Right now if you attach an image or document to a note, there's no easy way to download it, at least from the android app. You can select the image and get details, but no save/dl option.
I'd also love a way to see attachments on a note in a list, with download options. I have several notes with multiple docs attached, and I would like the option of downloading them all at once.
I also wish they took feedback directly. The last time I checked, they ha
I also remember during the 2020 VP debate when Kamala was asked if she would take the Trump vaccine. That sure turned around when it became the Biden vaccine.
techno/corpo-fuedalism is just another term for techno-oligarchy, which is what we are getting/have gotten anyway
billionares love mass democracy because it is dominated by media and turns into one-dollar-one-vote, centralizing the government in an easily controllable power center
the solution is to have many centers of power and to distribute the corruption, which remains constant
>distribute the corruption, which remains constant
Why do you think the corruption would remain constant? When you have more centers of power, each tiny oligarchy is fighting for their piece of the pie. If they don't do something unethical, some other group might outcompete them. Meanwhile if you have more concentrated power, those in charge can think long term and won't be immediately threatened by the competition.
They look great! Double-headed nails make great mini swords. I use them to show that I can make a sword in one heat. Smash it flat, file some small tapers and you're set. Plus, it fits in the hand of a lego person :P
The scroll wheel on the mouse doesn't seem to be working. Opening cybercafe.space in a browser sends it into an infinite loop
