I'm a bit torn about this. On one hand, I really think viable alternatives to Android/iOS are now more necessary than ever, and I'm eager to explore this OS. On the other hand, I'm not in the mood to buy new hardware (right now) just to try it out.

Nevertheless, I hope they succeed.

Ollama, Continue.dev extension for editor/IDE, and Open-WebUI. My hardware is a bit dated, so I only use this setup for some smaller open models.

On the laptop, I don't use any local models. Not powerful enough.

Exactly

Works like a charm. Powerful when needed. Thanks, KDE, looking forward to the next 29 years.

I couldn't disagree more. The problems of Google effectively controlling the “open web” take time to become evident but are starting to show.

I have no issues with them continuing to participate, but not with the level of control they have at the moment.

To be honest, still awful.

The answer is yes, I still use, but not Google nor Bing. Relying exclusively on LLMs sounds a bit dangerous and naive.

Until when, I don't know.

I'm still digesting what I've “witnessed” yesterday. I have no words for it, I'm baffled. Time to re-think…

For Django projects, I would say DjLint [1]. It doesn't cover all you asked, but makes the job of writing the templates (HTML) much more pleasant.

Exactly, this fits perfectly in the `.well-known` use cases. What a shame.
