We recently adopted Bruno at our company and I'm very happy with it. Versioning your requests with GIT is great, and the client is really nice as well.
Funny, the weather bit is also true of us Germans. Even our saying is almost the same. "Es gibt kein schlechtes Wetter, nur schlechte Kleidung." And we also have this one: "Wir sind ja nicht aus Zucker." (We're not made of sugar.)
I'd heard "There's no bad weather, only bad clothing" growing up in a USA state with a high number of German, Dutch, and Finnish immigrants. We also played outside unsupervised a lot 30 years ago (but we also played a lot of video games). I don't think the children where I grew up are still playing outside unsupervised -- I believe it's not entirely legal anymore.
Sorry I don't really understand your comment (English isn't my native language).
So there was / is a legitimate data structure which stores these affiliate links and someone accidentally used it as a source for the url auto completion?
I assume the legitimate reason to store affiliate links, are things like the widgets on the "new tab" page?
If that really was an honest mistake I'm sorry for spreading stories like this, without checking them first in more detail.
I'm having partial luck with cancelling and re-running jobs. In what I've seen with this issue, the job either lands in a functioning queue, in which case it gets picked up essentially immediately, or it lands in a bad one in which case it simply waits.
Oh, that was fun; great article! During my MA, I wrote a paper on Swedish Melodic Death Metal lyrics and what common themes they have. I can't seem to find the paper now, but I remember having a blast. I think the result was something like anger, violence, and loyalty/brotherhood.
- Make a simple admin CRUD layout
- Add some widgets
- Add a login/logout section in the navbar
- Make it all responsive
The first three steps worked amazingly. But the final step was probably just too difficult and I got some broken-looking site.
Still nice though, good job.
