Since this accepts all marine, freshwater and sky animals (birds) also this could take a very long time. For a bit more of a challenge in a shorter time list all animals starting with a particular letter. Time yourself a couple minutes to put some pressure on. Challenge your friends and family!

What are devs using to run Gemini agents in vscode? 2.5pro on Cline/Roo was pretty buggy compared to Claude/gpt4/5 (also using Cline /roo), kept getting stuck in loops outputting repeated text and many editing issues, and much much worse than Claude code or codex. Has it gotten better? Is there a better way of using Gemini in vscode?

And many irreplaceable ships will be sitting ducks for mid range missiles

Not just nickel and diming with cars, in Germany/Switzerland/Austria you have to pay to use toilets in service stations, showers in campsites (2min hot water per payment) and dozens of other micro payments for things that are free even in 3rd world countries. Nothing like having a kid who's desperate for the toilet and having to scratch for the right change to get in.

I've never used bread as a yogurt starter, but I have used yogurt to kickoff a starter to bake sourdough bread. Takes a few days before the starter starts growing nicely but makes sense it can go both ways.

Needed a new SIM in the UK recently so ordered a pay as you go one from Vodafone. Discovered to my horror that the new payg 'plus' can only be used with an app (that's locked to UK Google play Store) and a credit card for monthly recurring payments. No possibility of buying credit on a website or In store. Presumably so Vodafone can slurp up credit card details and all the juicy data mentioned in this article. Tossed in the bin and found a regular old school payg sim that I can top up with cash from a corner shop, but presumably this won't be possible for much longer.

Application error An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. If you are the application owner, check your logs for details. You can do this from the Heroku CLI with the command heroku logs --tail

the darkest pattern of all!

Funny because it's true. Nothing in the GP's list of dark patterns irritate me more than a site that initially loads and nicely displays the content but then takes it all away and switches to the generic next.js "Application error" when you move the mouse or try to scroll. FFS!

I also get this. Firefox on Android in Germany.

Same for me! I'm also in the EU.

Same, Western Asia

I also get that.

Weird only some people getting an error. Works ok for me.

It’s on a very old Heroku hosting plan. I should probably update that one day.

Just for the record, I get the same result with Firefox or Chromium and with IPs in different EU countries.

LMK, reporting in as well: broken when trying multiple ways on my end and wanna play! Great idea!

Dead here in the UK too

me too. Are we all in the EU? (I am)

When you posted this, it would have been 1-3AM in North America (and probably large parts of South America), so yeah, probably mostly Europeans!

And the many keen HN readers down in South Africa! (also CET)

Back in 2015 I walked 2 miles to a bowling alley tagged on Google maps (in Northwich, England) with my then gf...imagine our surprise when we walked in to a steamy front room and reception desk, my gf asks 'is this the bowling alley' to which a glistening man in a tank top replies 'this is a gay and lesbian sauna love'. We beat a hasty retreat but I imagine they were having more fun than bowling in there

Also Cape Town is a city in South Africa..no idea where Capetown is

It's near Stellen Bosch

Second this rec, it is very good, and will do a pretty nice job with mushrooms as well (although never trust it as a sole ID if you’re foraging).
