Njalla is not ICANN accredited, so they cannot register domains. They buy them and then lease them out to you.

The issue is, now they are the legal owners and liable for the content of the website, and they also support PayPal, which will absolutely drop them the moment they get sanctioned.

You don't have to discover the perfect solution in advance. You can just try something and see how long it works for, then try a different thing.

What if you make MFA mandatory. Normal users should have little issues with that despite the increased friction but bots would struggle with this.

Maybe there could be some hack to create more borders within the United States, so that perhaps 90% of the population could live within 100 miles of the border. For example, declaring the middle of some lakes to be non-territorial waters?

Iirc this does not allow for warrantless home searches, so they can’t just waltz into your house and demand your phone. 100 miles is still wild tho.
