> Sheesh, anyone old enough to remember the services offering a free email address with a choice of maybe 50 domains in a dropdown?

Mail.com is still around and offers a lot of domains, though I think the amount of domains has reduced over the years.

Your own example queries are literally wrong. Every single currency I tried was wrong (incl. Crypto)

Another one of your examples "100 watt hours to joules":

"Incompatible dimensions: time vs energy"

currencies are hard code as of now, Will connect with some api's.

"100 watt hours to joules", Thanks for let me know - its a parsing error.

> actually more a musician than a developer

Yes, they're not a developer at all. They just purchased a tool called "Romplur", you can make VST plugins with it and then export as an installer.

> I cracked a $200 software protection

No, not really. You "cracked" some random guy's $20 VST plugin. You never actually cracked Enigma Protector. The article started talking about cracking it then pivoted at the end to "I wrote a Python script to copy files from the installer" and said "the protection itself works fine"

"Flock Safety" is a company that makes "ALPR" cameras (automated license plate recognition, in reality they go far beyond just reading license plates), they've been getting a lot of attention recently because people are worried about privacy and abuse.

There's a bunch of articles about them here: https://www.404media.co/tag/flock/

I would also recommend Benn Jordan's YT channel, he has a couple of videos covering flock cameras. His latest one is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB0gr7Fh6lY

edit: grammar

I love Benn Jordan. If you liked this one, go check out the one where he stores a JPEG inside of a living bird.

Unrelated but he's been getting threats of violence. I'm not sure whats going on with that.

During deactivation period nobody can take the username but after deletion I'm pretty sure they can.

This is why I stopped playing COD Warzone, every time I wanted to play I had to download the entire game again just because of some small update.

> there also is a coin listed on coinbase lmao (might be unrelated)

Definitely not unrelated as the x bio says "Now on SOL". It's pretty clear that the goal is just to trick people into buying their coin

> I’m not yet ready to cough up the cost for Cloudflare R2 and AWS CloudFront

> but I’m still in that cheap-feeling phase and not ready to offload over 100GB of files to the public while paying a price

You wouldn't pay like anything for that on Cloudflare R2. You get 10GB and $0.015/GB (so what... like a dollar or something?) for anything over + free egress.

> Do NOT use for:

> Fraudulent job applications

> Deceiving others about your experience

> Any malicious purposes

Well... that is exactly what it's going to be used for, I'm sure the DRPK IT workers are going to be huge fans of it.
