So its an upgrade transport system with cost savings, ie carriages that can use the basic concrete tunnel controlled by software like AI road trains to avoid collisions maximising the transport of people and stations above ground for the cheaper space required when carriages need to stack up side by side whilst people engage in the rather slow activity of getting in and out. I cant see why they cant make a profit from that model.

CO2 levels rise to unhealthy levels (700ppm) within a few hours of a typical bedroom if you keep the doors and windows closed. Its also why Submarines have CO2 scrubbers.

Do you have any source for this? A bedroom isn't sealed shut like a submarine would be?

I have a CO2 monitor, and I can confirm that it goes up at least that fast in my home. I can't speak for submarines or healthy levels. I've been wondering for a while why environmental rhetoric only talks about the global rise in CO2 in terms that make people think it's just an atmospheric phenomenon rather than notably changing what they're breathing. It looks like we've nearly doubled the CO2 we're breathing in the past couple centuries, not including our more sealed up lifestyle.

>only talks about the global rise in CO2 in terms that make people think

Because the levels in the global rise are negligible in comparison to what is dangerous for breathing. Here's a hint, if you think you've spotted something blindingly obvious in a field scrutinized by hundreds of thousands of scientists, you're probably making a mistake.

Thanks for the hint. The thought that the health effects of a waste product from the most profitable of industries may have gone under-reported is indeed preposterous.

Here's a study showing reduced cognitive performance at various CO2 levels in the ranges we're talking about.

Reminds me of all the bugs in the java compiler I used to find when I first started learning the language and writing Hello World apps.

You can tell where someone is from just by looking at them, facial proportions, bone structure, and thats before you even get into clothes which mimic social conformity aka dedicated followers of local fashion.

yes, but that does not mean they are a local (ie live here, shop for clothes here) or not.

But someone who dresses in Carrefour looks different to someone who dresses in Lidl, BIM or MARHNT (cannot find russian letters easily, but you get the idea)

CIA, MI5 offer the best courses, plenty of paid for field work in interesting locations around the world. Just answer strange adverts, like Godolt is not coming, or be observant when out walking.

super fast broadband.. super fast autobahns.. super good cars.. in Germany..

super fast broadband is something Germany is... not great at.

Can't speak about Germany, but we have 100Mb/s symmetric internet for about 5$/month at the Charles University student dorms here in Prague.

Technically, there is supposed to be some fairly brutal bandwidth sharing and the speed is not guaranteed in any way but I never had my speedtest drop under 90Mb/s

Universities are a bit of a different bag in general, and yes, I was specifically talking about Germany. There's large differences between European countries when it comes to internet speeds and costs.

NordVPN use these guys as a node along with MIT, plenty of businesses and plenty of *.io domains to pop out in different parts of the world. Would not be surprised to learn there are various analysis of the traffic popping out of NordVPN's openVPN vpn's. Of course if you have 14 eyes, you can watch the encrypted traffic passing along the wires like waves travelling an ocean.

You have an issue with speed and size of someone on the footpaths, I could run fast and cause more problems than someone on a scooter on the path. Besides its not like Scooters will ever be that popular because people love transporting stuff around in their cars and they need/expect a certain level of protection from the elements which scooters, bikes and motorbikes will never exceed. Its a bit of a storm in a teacup which is why the UK police are not prosecuting electric scooter users at the moment.

Jogging on footpaths while respecting right of way is completely different from running helker-skelter, bumping and knocking people down. I hope we really don't need to debate the difference between the two.

The concept of codified law unfortunately does require that debate.

This is why the World Bank can claim to have lifted the poorest who earn $1 a day above this limit, wage inflation gives these people $2 a day, but the cost of living has increased to $3 a day, so they are now worse off despite the headline claim to having being lifted out of the $1 a day poverty. For thousands of years clever people have been manipulating stupid people.

Totally agree about Nature needs the odd wildfire. On the point of the bombing maybe the Vacuum bombs aka Thermobaric bombs could be a solution. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermobaric_weapon They burn more intensely so could the advancing edge be bombed so what is on fire burns out more quickly so that t can not advance? Although many will be familiar with the Fire triangle, if you can burnt an area at an accelerated rate, the fire can put itself out. As the vacuum bombs are essentially just fuel that suck/use the oxygen in the environment, they could steal the oxygen from the fire. These are also slow exploding bombs as a result but it would be interesting to see how they work on the advancing face of a wildfire. Hard part would be getting the right sized explosion, the Military cant control the size of an explosion that well, but Reaper drones could be used effectively with their laser targeting.

There is no legal requirement in many countries for a company to report it has been hacked and even if there were, if they dont spot the hack how can they report it? See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, problem solved. Beside with so many global businesses employing the best from around the world, how do these companies know they are not employing spooks with excellent fabricated grades? It might explain how Microsofts Win10 source code their crown jewels, was leaked online.

GPDR or whatever it's called requires it. So pretty much the entirety of the EU... Or companies with offices in the EU ... So if you're an EU citizen, you should have been notified by law.
